Extra

I found these photos while flipping. It's my favourite series. It's josh re-organizing the back locker. Man is it big. Josh will go to any expense to organize!!!!

Josh!
Is this the nautical version of the "Doghouse"???? You let me know if I need to have a "chat" with the daughter!
I can speak with knowledge ... that locker is NO place to spend any length of time!

Josh,
I think there is an online 12 step program you can sign up for before you start organizing food in alphabetical order (kidding)!
I hope you had the proper blues/jazz music to hang out in/on the "rivah", it sounds like that kinda place.
I know it's redundant but I LOVE the blog.
Love ya!!

Rox and Josh,

We have been thinking of you guys since we left St. Martin on "Q". Thank you for finding the energy to write this blog. We know how much energy it takes at the end of a long hard day on the water.

Chantal and I have been trying to move so quickly that up to now… internet connections have passed us by before we have been able to read your great blog (despite buying an amazing WiFi antenna at THE store in St. Martin).

Last night we arrived in Burlington at midnight... over 2000 miles and 5 weeks from St. Martin... and low and behold... we have a real internet connection. The first thing we did was read your blog from beginning to end. We have been laughing so hard that we still have not finished dinner... it's been over an hour. It is also ridiculously cold here… so don’t rush back.

It is however incredibly beautiful. Yesterday I was up for sunrise and sunset. BOTH were at least as beautiful as any we have seen in the Caribbean. We are incredibly lucky… Lake Champlain is both incredibly beautiful… and incredibly challenging. You don’t have to travel to the Caribbean… except of course when the lake is frozen… like tonight…. It is #$%^&* COLD! Nothing that can’t be solved with a good comforter and a warm-blooded partner (important pre-req).

The ONLY stops we made in our 5 week odyssey... have been at THE store. It is obvious that we should have traveled slower... the way you are doing it. We were on a delivery trip... you are on an adventure. We hope that we can live up to your standard of great vicarious adventure writing on our sabbatical in the fall. You set a high standard.

We so look forward to seeing you on the lake soon.

BIG HUGS,

James and Chantal

PS: Chantal wants you to know that the locks are not a problem for 2... provided it is not a windy (over 15 knots) day.

Roxy,
I am loving all this fabulous writing...I think its what you've been surpressing it all these years! It sounds like you are in such a completely different world. Isn't that wonderful!I wish I could spend a few days on that boat with you. I want to go to the Rivah and run around in the sun. But not too all that hard work with Josh! Say hi to him. It has been too cold here. Germany better be warm!
Love you tons!
